  • Ensemble Approaches
    • Bagging, Random Forests, Boosting: Adaboost, Gradient boosting, Applications.
  • Optimization
    • Gradient descent, Stochastic gradient descent, Batch gradient descent.

    • Different clustering approaches and applications.
  • Feature Engineering

This 30-hour online short-term course on “Machine Learning with Python: Basics to Advanced” offers a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to core and advanced ML techniques using Python. Dr. Venkateswara Rao Kagita, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, NIT Warangal.

About the Instructor:  Dr. Venkateswara Rao Kagita is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Hyderabad and further expanded his global academic experience as a visiting fellow at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. His research expertise spans Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, with a focus on developing advanced machine learning techniques for recommender systems. Dr. Kagita’s work has secured seven research/consultancy projects worth over 2.85 crores, funded by esteemed organizations of the Government of India. His contributions to the field have been published in top-tier journals and prominent conference proceedings. In addition to his research, Dr. Kagita is a sought-after speaker, having delivered several guest lectures at premier institutions, including IITs, NITs, and other esteemed universities, both in India and internationally.
