- A Ph.D. in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Management, or a closely related field.
- Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching and research.
- Familiarity with current pedagogical methods and technologies in business education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A record of published research in reputable academic journals.
- Professional experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or consulting
Experience:
Assistant professor: The candidate must possess a Ph.D. with minimum teaching experience.
Candidate Profile:
- GITAM (Deemed to be University) is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified individual for the position of Assistant Professor in Organizational Development and Human Resources. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to excellence in teaching, research, and service in the field of Organizational Development (OD); Human Resource Management (HRM), and related areas.
- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Organizational Development, Human Resource Management, Change Management, Talent Development, and related areas.
- Develop and update course materials to reflect current trends and best practices in OD and HRM
- The faculty is expected to publish in Scopus indexed/Web of Science journals.
- Additionally, Faculty typically reports to a department head. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field.
- Faculty may offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.
- Typically, this individual is a leader in the field and has been published.
