Organization Profile: The Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam (IIIT Kottayam) was established in the year 2015 as one among the IIITs established under the administrative control of the Government of India and later declared as an “Institution of National Importance” by an Act of Parliament enacted in 2017. The initial cost for the infrastructure development was shared in the ratio of 50:35:15 among the Central Government, State Government and the industry partners namely M/s CIAL Cochin, and M/s Rolta Foundation Mumbai. The institute is located on a picturesque lush green 53-acre campus in Pala, Kottayam, Kerala.

Employment Type: Contract
Educational Qualifications :
Psychologist: PG Degree in Clinical Psychology, First Class with minimum one year experience in group/individual counselling in Education Institutions and/or psychological testing in Educational Institutions or in a reputed mental health clinic/hospital.
Technician: Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) / Computer Science (CS) OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) /Electronics or equivalent branches.
Remuneration:
- Psychologist: Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) per month. No other allowances are applicable. Applicable TDS will be deducted from the remuneration.
- Technician: Consolidated pay of Rs.25,000/- per month. Applicable TDS will be deducted from the remuneration. No other allowances admissible.

For Psychologist:
- Candidates having the above prescribed qualification and experience may attend the Walk-in Interview scheduled on September 16, 2025 at 10.00 AM onwards at the IIIT Kottayam campus, Valavoor (P.O.), Pala-686635. No TA/DA will be applicable for attending the recruitment process.
For Technician:
- All candidates desirous to apply for the above said position should send a detailed Bio-Data (in a single PDF file not exceeding 2 MB) on or before 05.00 pm on 17.09.2025, to [email protected]. No other documents need not be sent along with the Bio-Data. No other mode of application will be entertained under any circumstances.
- A written test and/ or interview will be conducted on September 22, 2025 (Monday) from 10.00 AM onwards. All prospective candidates should comply with the instructions of the authorities of the Institute at the time of the recruitment process.
