It was established in June 1960 by the Government of India and later named in honor of engineer, planner, and statesman, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.
Project position : JRF
Title of the project: Development of High- Power Grid Friendly Conductive and Static Wireless chargers for Electric Vehicles
Duration of the project: 3 years
Fellowship amount: Rs. 37,000/- per month consolidated (for the first 2 years), Rs. 42,000/- per month consolidated (for 3rd year)
Eligibility requirements: M.E/M. Tech./M. Sc. with First class in Electrical Engineering and equivalent with specialization in Power Electronics/Electrical Drives/Power System/Control System or equivalent with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized university/institute.
