As a part of this, IIIT-Surat was planned and started with initial mentoring by SVNIT, Surat till the new campus of IIIT is ready in Surat.

Qualification:

- First Class B.Tech./B.E and M.Tech./M.E. in relevant discipline with a Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized University/Institute.
- Assistant Professor
- First Class M.Tech., and Ph.D in relevant discipline from a recognized University /Institute.
