Job Title/Designation: Assistant/Associate Psychology Professor

Qualification: Education: Must possess a Ph.D. from a reputed institution in Psychology or a closely related field such as Behavioral Science, Cognitive Science, or Neuroscience.
Experience: Seeking an experienced Psychology Professor with a minimum of 5 years in academia, including curriculum development, student mentoring, and scholarly research.
- Demonstrated excellence in academic instruction and student engagement in psychology courses.
- Proven ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary faculty teams and contribute to institutional development.
- Strong research orientation with published work in reputed journals and experience in guiding student projects.
- Organizational and administrative capabilities to manage academic programs, research activities, and departmental initiatives.
- Up-to-date with current psychological theories, research methods, and trends in mental health and behavioral sciences.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in core and applied psychology subjects, with exposure to curriculum and syllabus design.
- 3 to 7 years of academic research and administrative experience within a higher education setting.
Candidate Profile:
Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Psychology such as Cognitive Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Research Methods.
- Design and develop course materials, assignments, and assessments in alignment with academic standards.
- Guide and mentor students in academic, research, and career development activities.
- Engage in scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and faculty development programs.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to enrich the student learning experience.
- Support institutional accreditation and quality assurance efforts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- Prior teaching experience at the college/university level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of subject content and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and learning management systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment.
