Organization Profile: Suryadatta International Institute of Cyber Security (SIICS) has been established in 2020, the first flagship course affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The first institute in Pune to offer courses in the Specialized field of Cyber & Digital Science. The institute has a state-of-art infrastructure and computing facilities with the campus is designed to provide the cyber learning infrastructure and ample open learning space to create a unique ambience that stimulates peer and group learning experiences.
Job Title/Designation: Principal – Cyber and Digital Science
Job Profile
- Conceive and implement new ideas and plans in accordance with the vision and mission of the college.
- Promote institutional development and inculcate research development activities.
- Listen to students and faculty ideas and set a supportive tone.
- Ensure that the staff and students are aware of rules, policies and procedures laid down by the institution.
- Monitor, manage and educate the administration of the institution and take remedial actions based on the stakeholder’s feedback.
- Execute any other qualitative and quantitative work for the welfare of the students and institution.
- Lead the strategic development of the college. Lead initiatives, in collaboration with academic units, to attain visibility / recognition of the institution.
- Appreciable knowledge of regulatory authorities and documentations.
- Support the enhancement of research of the institute within the college.
Qualification mandate (all 4 points) required as per the following
- M.Sc. Cyber Security / M.Sc. Computer Science / M.Sc. Computer Application / M.Sc. Industrial Mathematics with Computer Application / Master of Computer Application (Science) with min. 55% marks ( or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
- Should have worked as Professor / Associate Professor with a total service / Experience of at least 15 years of teaching / research/ administration in Universities, colleges and other institutions of higher education.
- A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and
- A minimum of 110 Research Score (API)
Skills Required: Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills, along with expertise in education and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience: 15+ years of teaching / research experience.
