Organization Profile: The Govt. of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, New Delhi has taken a decision for setting up of New NITs under 11th Five year plan vide order No.F-23-13/2009-TS.III dt.30th October 2009. By virtue of this, a new NIT has come into existence in the Union Territory of Puducherry. This National Institute of Technology Puducherry admits students through JEE(MAIN) with 50% of seats reserved for the candidates having residence/native at Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe, Yenam and the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar and the remaining 50% seats filled on all India basis.
Job Title: Junior Research Fellowships
Title of the Project: Development of Neural Network based wakeup keyword spotting chip and ASIC for audio watermarking for security applications
Funding Agency: SMDP-C2S under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology
Department: ECE
Qualification:
Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in Electronics or Electronics and communication or Computer science or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or other relevant discipline.
and
Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the fields of Embedded Design / VLSI or other relevant discipline, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or) CGPA of 6.5/10 in UG or PG for JRF under OC/OBC category and 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.0 for SC/ST candidates.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge in VLSI CAD tools, VLSI, MATLAB/PYTHON/openCV, C++, UNIX and relevant areas
Duration of the Project: 5 Year

Salary: Rs. 37,000 per month with HRA (as per the norms)
