Organization Profile: North-Eastern Hill University was set up by an Act of Parliament and notified on 19th July 1973. The objectives of the University, as laid down in the act, are “to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit; to pay special attention to the improvement of the social and economic conditions and welfare of the people of the hill areas of the North-eastern region, and in particular, the intellectual, academic and cultural advancement”.

Qualification:

Qualifications for Guest Faculty in Electrical Wiring:

• Voc/Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an AICTE/ UGC recognized institution with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.

OR

• 3-Year Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an AICTE/recognized board of technical education or an Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

OR

• NTC/NAC in the trade of “Electrician” with a minimum of three years of relevant

Qualifications for Guest Faculty in Food Processing:

• Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) or Post-graduation in Food Science, Food Processing, Food Technology, or an equivalent field with a minimum of 55% marks and UGC-NET qualification (as per UGC norms).

OR

• Tech. in Food Technology or an equivalent field with a minimum of 55% marks and UGC-NET qualification (as per UGC norms).

OR

• PG Diploma in Food Science, Food Processing, or Bakery & Confectionery Technology from a recognized institution.

Job Location:  Meghalaya

Pay Scale: Rs. 1000/- per lecture, up to a maximum of Rs. 40,000/- per month, as per UGC Guidelines for Community Colleges
