Job Title: Research Assistant

Project Title: Assessing the implications of aquaculture on environment and socioeconomic conditions in the northern coastal plains of Tamil Nadu: A step towards sustainable shrimp farming

Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate in Geography or related Social Science disciplines with minimum 55 % marks

Candidate Profile:

• The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
• The candidate should have excellent communication
• Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
• The candidate should have good research record

Job Location: Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu

Fellowship:  Rs. 16,000/- p.m.

Duration: 12 months or coterminous with the duration of project whichever is earlier

Desirables: Candidates with relevant experience in the field of geospatial technology
and/or having NET / PhD qualification will be given preference
