Title of the Project: Assessment of Urban Sprawl and its Implications on Groundwater
Resources of Tiruppur Municipal Corporation, Tamil Nadu
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in Geography/ Geology/Environmental Science.
Nature of Work:
- Undertake extensive field surveys and prepare water samples for scientific Groundwater quality analysis
- Evaluate Urban sprawl and its impact on groundwater resources in Tiruppur Municipal Corporation
- Assist Project Director in report preparation, data compilation/ processing, preparation of progress reports, International journal publications etc.
- Candidates selected to work in the project will have the option to register for Ph.D. in the Department of Geography provided fulfilling the relevant criteria of Bharathidasan University.
Fellowship: Rs.16,000/-p.m.
