College Profile: The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai, the first of its kind in South East Asia was founded in the year 1954 by the All India Women’s Central Food Council under the leadership of Late Smt. Lilavati Munshi. Late Smt. Lilavati Munshi with a band of courageous women which included Smt. Homi J H Taleyarkhan and Smt. Leela N Jog under the name of All India Women’s Central Food Council established a chain of Annapoornas (restaurants) throughout the country, but primarily in the metropolitan cities to prepare and sell economic but nutritionally sound snacks and foods.

Qualification:

Full-time Master’s Degree in Hospitality/ Hotel Administration/ Hotel Management/ Culinary Art securing not less than 55%  marks in aggregate from a recognised University/ Institute after a full-time degree (for a minimum of 3 years duration) in Hospitality/ Hotel Administration/ Hotel Management/ Culinary Art securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate from a recognised University/ Institute and should have qualified NHTET with
prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT

Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality/ Hotel Administration/ Hotel Management/ Culinary Art from a recognised University/ Institute securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate and at least 2 years of hospitality industry experience and also should have qualified NHTET with the prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT.

Candidate Profile:

• All the candidates must have completed PG/Ph.D. in their relevant discipline
• Candidates should work with a lot of dedication and discipline
