Organization Profile: Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB), an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, is the only institute in the country which works mainly on Secondary Agriculture and development of value added products from different types of bioresources. Its mandate fits well with the of Govt. of India`s programme on “Doubling the Farmer`s Income” with the same inputs.

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Qualifications: 

(i) M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology) or M.E. / M. Tech. (Biotechnology) from a recognized University/ Institute
and
(ii) NET / GATE / any other relevant equivalent nature of test qualified

Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- per month + (HRA as admissible or Hostel facility, if available) for JRF
