Job Position: Junior Research Fellow
Project Title: Development of a highly sensitive technique for specific detection of pesticidal residues and heavy metals in crude herbal drugs and herbal products
Funded by: Department of Biotechnology (DBT), India under the Scheme Translational Research on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.
Duration: 2 Years
Requirement: M.E./M.Tech. or Postgraduate in Nanotechnology, Medical Physics, Chemical sciences, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or allied disciplines with GATE/CSIR –UGC NET qualification and/or selected through any National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc., is preferred.
Role/Experience: The candidate will be involved in synthesis, characterization and application of graphene nanocomposites for detection of pesticidal residues and heavy metal ions in crude herbal products using Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS). Applicants must have prior knowledge in nanoparticle synthesis and SERS analysis.

Scale Of Pay: Rs. 31,000/- + Rs. 7,440/- HRA (for 2 years)
