A full-time Master degree in any discipline with at least 55% of the marks (or an equivalent Grade in a seven-point scale wherever grading system is followed as per UGC norms) from any of the university established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other Educational Institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956;
1. At least 9years of experience as Assistant Professor/Lecturer or equivalent in the
A.G.P.of₹.6000(in 6thPay) and above along with experience in educational administration OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/ or other institutions of higher education OR At least 5 years relevant Administrative/ Managerial experience in the capacity of the post of Assistant Registrar in the Education Institute or Equivalent Administrative/ Managerial /Officer level Post (i.e. in the Post having minimum 5400/- grade pay as per 6th pay commission) in state Government/ Central Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector Unit/ government Grant in aid Organization /Government Undertaking Organization/ Board.
2. Have passed the qualifying examination for computer Knowledge in accordance with the provisions of the Gujarat civil Services Computer Competency Training and Examination Rules 2006 as amended from time to time.
3. Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both and English.
4. Age limit: For direct recruitment, not more than 40 years. In case those candidates having a minimum of 5 years of work experience preferably in the recognized University/Institution, shall be considered eligible for relaxation in maximum age
limits by 5 years. - Assistant Registrar
I. Qualification:
Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks (or an equivalent Grade in a seven
point scale wherever grading system is followed as per UGC norms) from any of the
the university established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other Educational Institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956
II. Five years of administrative experience at Supervisory level in Administration /
Establishment/Examination/Finance of the University in A.G.P. of ₹.s 4600 or holding
analogous post
III. Have passed the qualifying examination for computer Knowledge in accordance with the provisions of the Gujarat civil Services Computer Competency Training and Examination Rules 2006 as amended from time to time.
IV. Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both and English.
V. Age limit: For direct recruitment, not more than 40 years. In case those candidate having minimum 5 years work experience preferably in the recognized University/Institution, shall be considered eligible for relaxation at maximum age
limits by 5 years.
Note: 5% Marks relaxation from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master’s level for the eligible candidates who are working permanently for more than 10 years in the University the system will be given.
