Organization Profile: The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities owes its origin to St. Dunstan’s Hostel for the War Blinded established in 1943, which offered a basic set of rehabilitation services to the soldiers and sailors blinded in the World War II. In 1950, the Government of India took over the St. Dunstan’s Hostel and entrusted the Ministry of Education with the responsibility of developing comprehensive services for the rehabilitation of blind persons. Subsequently, services for the blind witnessed remarkable expansion.
Job Title:
1. Name of Post: Asst. Professor (PMR) (Consultant) For 11 Months
Emoluments: Rs. 60,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:-
i. MBBS.
ii. PG degree/Diploma in PMR recognized by MCI/RCI.
iii. Minimum of five years of experience in teaching or research in a related field.
Desirable:-
i. Ph.D. in the field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
2. Name of Post: Administrative Officer (Consultant) For 11 Months
Emoluments: Rs. 40,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:-
i. Post Graduate Degree/MBA from a recognized University.
ii. Minimum of five years of experience in establishment/admin. matters in any Govt.
Organization.
3. Name of Post: Prosthetics & Orthotics (Consultant) For 11 Months
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:-
i. Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotic registered with RCI.
ii. Minimum Four years of relevant experience.
4. Name of Post: Vocational Instructor (Consultant) For 11 Months
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:-
i. Higher Secondary with Diploma in Vocational Training/ D.Ed., / B.Ed./PG Diploma
in Special Education/Equivalent course recognized by RCI.
ii. 2 years of relevant experience.
iii. Registration with RCI.
Desirable:-
i. Graduation with a diploma in Vocational Training.
5. Name of Post: Data Entry Operator (Consultant) For 11 Months
Emoluments: Rs 20,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:-
i. Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent
ii. Typing Speed Hindi 30 WPM and English 35 WPM with Computer knowledge.
iii. Minimum 2 Years relevant Experience
iv. Knowledge of MS Office & Other Data Entry Software’s
6. Name of Post: Lecturer (Consultant) D.Ed. – Spl.-Ed. (MD) for 6months
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:-
i. Post Graduate Degree.
ii. M.Ed. Special Education.
Or
B.Ed. Special Education with 2 years of experience.
Or
D.Ed. SE in MD with 2 years of experience.
iii. Registration with RCI.
Desirable:-
i. M.Ed. / B.Ed. / D.Ed. in Special Education in other than the primary area of Specialization.
7. Name of Post: Lecturer (Consultant) (CCCG) for 6 months
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:-
i. M.Sc. in Nursing/Psychiatric Nursing / General Nursing or Masters in any field of Rehabilitation with minimum 3 years of practical experience.
8. Name of Post: Demonstrator (Consultant) (CCCG) for 6 months
Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:-
i. Graduation from Recognized University.
ii. D.Ed. Special Education in any area of Specialization.
iii. Minimum 02 years of experience.
iv. Registration with RCI.
Desirable:-
i. Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Special Education.
9. Name of Post: Special Educator (Consultant) for 6 months
Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:-
i. Graduation with Diploma / B.Ed. / PG Diploma in Spl. Education or equivalent.
ii. Minimum 02 years of experience.
iii. Registration with RCI.
Desirable:-
i. M.Ed. in Special Education.
10.Name of Post: Care Giver (Consultant) Special Education / Inclusive Education Wing for 6 months
Emoluments: Rs. 12,000/- P.M. with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:-
i. Higher Secondary from a recognized Board/University.
ii. Minimum 02 years of experience of working with children with disabilities.
Desirable:-
i. Certificate Course in Care Giving.
