College Profile: Indian Institute of Technology Madras is one among the foremost institutes of national importance in higher technological education, basic and applied research. In 1956, the German Government offered technical assistance for establishing an institute of higher education in engineering in India. The first Indo-German agreement in Bonn, West Germany for the establishment of the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras was signed in 1959.

Title of the Project: “Experiments on analysis of fixed offshore wind turbines under parked condition
Funding Agency: DSTX
- B Tech / BE in Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace or M.Tech/ME/MS in Civil/ Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. with Valid GATE / UGC-NET.
- Masters level preferred. Any other relevant discipline with 65% or 7.0 CGPA and above.
Experience: Exposure to Experimental or Numerical Modelling / Computer Programming or both is preferred. Additional Working Experience in Relevant Discipline of Ocean / Coastal Engineering will be preferred. Knowledge of Hydrodynamics will also be considered.
Tenure of the Project: Initially for a period of Six months.

Scale of Pay :
- Rs.25,000/-p.m + HRA as per the institute norms
