Coimbatore Institute of Technology – Teaching Learning Centre (Under PMMMNMTT, MHRD, GoI) is organizing a course on “HANDS-ON TRAINING ON MATLAB & SIMULINK FUNDAMENTAL” from 10th March to 09th April – 2021.
COURSE CONTENTS:
MATLAB FUNDAMENTALS
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the MATLAB technical computing
environment. Themes of data analysis, visualization, modeling, and programming are explored throughout the course. The following topics will be covered in the course duration:
- Working with the MATLAB user interface
- Analyzing vectors and matrices
- Working with data files
- Automating commands with scripts
- Writing functions
- Entering commands and creating variables
- Visualizing vector and matrix data
- Working with data types
- Writing programs with branching and loops
SIMULINK FUNDAMENTALS
This course is for engineers who are new to system and algorithm modeling and design validation in Simulink. It demonstrates how to apply basic modeling techniques and tools to develop Simulink block diagrams. The following topics will be covered in the course duration:
- Creating and modifying Simulink models and simulating system dynamics
- Modeling continuous-time, discrete-time, and hybrid systems
- Modifying solver settings for simulation accuracy and speed
- Building hierarchy into a Simulink model
- Creating reusable model components using subsystems, libraries, and Model references
