Organization Profile: “75 years of Tradition of excellence in Engineering & Technology Education, Research and Innovations” Delhi College of Engineering, (initially established with the name – Delhi Polytechnic) came into existence in the year 1941 to cater to the needs of Indian industries for trained technical manpower with practical experience and sound theoretical knowledge. The institution was set up at the historic Kashmere Gate campus as a follow up of the Wood and Abott Committee of 1938. It comprised of a multi-disciplinary and multi-level institution offering wide-ranging programmes in engineering, technology, arts and sculpture, architecture, pharmacy and commerce. The national diploma awarded by the institution was recognized as equivalent to degree level for the purposes of employment. In 1952 the college was affiliated with the University of Delhi and started formal Degree level Programmes.

Qualifications:
- Requirements
1. Doctorate Degree in the field of Happiness studies or Positive Psychology or allied areas
2. Teaching experience and passion for teaching and research
OR
Three-year state board diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering/Control and
Instrumentation/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Automobile Engineering/
Mechanical Engineering discipline with 1 year industrial/laboratory experience in the
relevant field (s). - Duties
1. Teaching Happiness and well-being which could include science and practice of Happiness, understanding emotions, Theory of Emotions, Relationships, Resilience, Confidence building, Happiness at work, Mindfulness, Measuring Happiness and other relevant topics.
2. Keep up to date with new developments in the field
3. Responsible for developing and managing happiness projects and internships
