Job Title: Assistant Professor – Chemistry
Qualification and Experience:
- Msc / PhD / NET / SET in Relevant department
- A minimum of 1-4 years of Teaching experience
Desirable Skills
- Candidates should have good conceptual knowledge.
- Candidates should possess good communication skills.
- Responsible to guide and oversee the instructional, co-curricular and extra-curricular programs.
- Responsible for student management, their attendance and discipline.
- Develop lesson plans and manages the learning experiences for students to ensure the needs of the groups and individual students are met
- Commitment to excellence in teaching
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students · Assisting with various departmental duties and providing academic support to Professors and other staff
- Recruiting, training, and mentoring new TAs and other junior staff · Conducting research and publishing papers in academic journals · Representing the university at conferences and delivering presentations when necessary
- Providing demonstrations and supervising experiments and investigations
- Answering questions in class or via email or telephone
- Providing Professors and Department Heads with feedback on student progress Attending faculty and departmental meetings and voicing concerns or providing suggestions for improvement
