Organization Profile: Iqra Education Society’s H. J. Thim College of Arts and Science was established in 1991 at Mehrun area of Jalgaon city. The college has been functioning for more than 27 years and has covered many milestones in its path of progress. Being solely Muslim Minority College in the Jalgaon district “Thim” is also the only English Medium Arts and Science Graduate and Post Graduate college of the Khandesh region. The college is justifying its existence through the implantation of undergraduate and post graduates courses in Arts and Science streams. Apart from the specialized courses various diplomas and certificate courses run under NCPUL. In the college campus MANUU (Hyderabad) and YCMOU Distance Learning Centres are running. While over the years the college has created an excellent educational platform for the minority students. The college students secured Gold Medals and Merit Positions at University examinations in various subjects.
