About College: The Mata Amritanandamayi Math (also known as M. A. Math) (Sanskrit: माता अमृतानन्दमयी मठ्) is an international charitable humanitarian organization aimed at the spiritual and material upliftment of humankind, founded by the female Hindu spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, who is known popularly as “Amma.” Through its various centers (ashrams) and branch groups, M. A. Math offers educational, medical, and social welfare assistance to disadvantaged people in India and overseas. Key projects in India include care centers for the elderly; schools, colleges, training centers, and orphanages for children in need; free housing schemes for the homeless and handicapped; health and medical services; free meals; and recently, relief assistance to victims of natural disasters such as earthquakes, cyclones, and tsunamis.
Applications are invited from
(1) Female candidates having any Graduate Degree with First Class for the post of Residential Warden in the Ladies Hostel located inside the College Premises, Amrita Institutions, Nagercoil. The person would be required to stay in the Hostel during tenure at Amrita. Good communications skills, fair knowledge of Tamil and English language are desirable
(2) Female candidates for the post of Physical Education Teacher (PET). Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Physical Education can apply for the post.
