College Profile: Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College is the First Self – Finance Engineering College in the Composite state of Andhra Pradesh (AP) established in the year 1977 and is an Autonomous College by UGC since 2006. The Institute is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. All UG and eligible PG Programmes are accredited by NBA in Outcome Based Education format (Tier-I) approved by Washington Accord, USA. The college is having more than 330 faculty with 120 Ph.Ds and is a TEQIP funded institution by World Bank and MHRD. The college is recognized as “Scientific & Industrial Research Organization” (SIRO) by DSIR, Govt of India. The College has 20 Collaborative Labs and COES supported by DST, SIEMENS, ISRO, IBM, Oracle, CISCO, National Instruments (NI), Dassault & so on. The College is having recognized Research Centers by JNTUK & sponsored research projects by UGC, DRDO, ISRO, DST and offering Industry relevant flexible curriculum. - A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed.
- At least ten years as a Librarian at any level in the University Library or ten years’ experience as a College Librarian.
- Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.
- A Ph.D. Degree in library science
